FISU’s popular 3×3 basketball competition was held in Istanbul, Türkiye in 2022. The women’s final saw Chinese Culture University from Chinese Taipei defeat Monterrey ITES of Mexico 21-12. Royal International University from Mongolia took the bronze.
In men’s action, Paulista University knocked off Macquarie University of Australia 20-10 to take the gold, while the bronze medal was won by Monterrey ITES.
