Rotterdam crowns 15 new FISU World University champions in rowing

Italy took home five gold medals, Poland three, while the host nation won the title in the women’s lightweight single scull thanks to Martine Kamminga.

The Rotterdam 2024 FISU Championship Rowing took place as part of a broader series of rowing events, including the Netherlands’ National Student Rowing Federation season closing competition. 15 new FISU World University titles were distibuted after three days of races in Rotterdam.

Italy were the biggest winners with five gold medals, five silver medals and and two bronze. A total of fourteen events for both women and men took place in seven boat classes in addition to the mixed four race.
