Registrations for the FISU University World Cup Combat Sports is now open. Eligible student-athletes who want to participate in the event can ask their respective National University Sport Federations (NUSF) to register them on the accreditation portal.
The FISU University World Cup Combat Sports will take place from 21 to 30 September in Samsun, Turkey. The competition includes six sports: Sambo (21-23 September), Wushu (21-24 September), Muaythai (22-28 September), Boxing (25-30 September), Wrestling (26-30 September) and Karate (27-30 September).
The FISU World Cup format reunites student-athletes from around the world to compete under their university name. Around a thousand student-athletes and officials are expected to travel to Samsun this year.
