Ekaterinburg 2023 begins volunteer recruitment in August

The Ekaterinburg 2023 FISU World University Games organisers plan to involve more than 11,000 people in their volunteer programme.

 

The organiser’s official portal will begin accepting applications from candidates on 8 August 2021. Detailed information about rules, procedures, and the time frame of the selection will also be provided on the website. Anyone willing to participate in organising and holding the event will be able to fill in forms that will be reviewed by the Games Directorate.

 

The organisers will need volunteers to help assist in many aspects of the event and will require a broad spectrum of skills. Knowledge of foreign languages, basics of journalism, technical skills, sports training, and experience in volunteering is highly welcome. All participants of the program will be provided uniforms, food, and transport. Volunteers will also receive souvenirs and diplomas from the Ekaterinburg 2023 FISU World University Games.

 

The organisers hope to attract around 6,000 candidates among the residents of the Sverdlovsk Region, approximately 4,000 volunteers will arrive from other regions of Russia, and another 200 from abroad.
