Traditionally, the Charles Wenden Memorial Officials’ Race will be staged again at this Universiade.
It will be the 26th edition (started in 1983) and the race will be held on August 26th, at 11 AM, following the Men’s 20 km walk at the same place (Taipei City Hall – No.1, City Hall Rd., Xinyi District., Taipei City).
The distance will be 3 km (3 laps).
All accredited persons to the Universiade can compete, except athletes.
The participation is free of charge
The President of the Race is Till Lufft, FISU Technical Delegate for Athletics.
The race is managed by its curator, Emeritus Honorary Member Alf Laser from Australia and it’s Co-Curator, Kenny Chow, FISU Executive Committee Member from Hong Kong.
