HUSF Electoral General Assembly 2016

BUDAPEST – The Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUSF) held its General Assembly on 11 March 2016. As the HUSF board completed its 4-year term since its election in 2012, special attention was given to the event.

Gyöngyi FÖLDESI was granted the HUSF Honorary Member award and received it from HUSF President KISSBefore the discussion of the official agenda of the meeting the participants were informed on the preparation of the Budapest Bid for the 2024 Olympic Games. EUSA president Mr. Adam ROCZEK also welcomed the delegates and expressed the gratitude of EUSA for active involvement of HUSF in EUSA activities.

Afterwards, the report on the activities was presented by dr. Mózes SZÉKELY, HUSF Secretary General. The assembly also approved the annual accounts.

The assembly elected the new board for the next four years. Prof. Dr. Ádám KISS was unanimously reelected as HUSF President, Dr. Zoltán BÁCS, Tamás SKULTÉTY and Dr. Tamás STERBENZ were elected as Vice-Presidents, while Dr. Tamás FREYER, Dr. Antal KOVÁCS, Dániel MOLNÁR, Zoltán RAKACZKI, Balázs TOMPOS and Csaba VLADÁR were elected as EC members.

In the break held during the elections ENAS officer Ms. Margo de LANGE presented the organization informing the participants of the Assembly about their activities.

During the Assembly, HUSF also awarded the outstanding personalities for the previous year. Former FISU EduC member, professor emerita Ms. Gyöngyi FÖLDESI was granted the HUSF Honorary Member award.
