Mr Adam Roczek, EUSA President, presented the up-coming events of his federation and he wished FASU and the organising committee to be successful in the organisation of the 7th African University Games.

Mr Yang Liguo and Mr Shen Zhen, AUSF representatives, presented the up-coming events in Asia over the next years and they expressed their confidence in the capacity of FASU to overcome the challenges of such a vast continent.

The first point on the agenda was the requests for membership from Sierra Leone and Gambia. The General Assembly voted in favour of their affiliation.

The second point on the agenda was the proposed new constitution of FASU. After lively exchanges between the participants and the examination of amendments, it was adopted by a large majority (14 in favour and 2 abstentions).

The adoption of new statutes is a big step forward for FASU. They provide new tools that will help FASU to develop further and ensure that FISU statutes are respected. FASU leaders also adopted international regulations that did not exist until now. These regulations will enhance the efficiency of the work of FASU in the coming years.
