In the men’s race Emilien Barben from Switzerland pocketed the gold, before Polish favourite Marek Konwa. Third was Jan Nesvabda from Czech Republic. “I am so happy with the title. Today there were two fast guys here – Konwa and Nesvabda. We were riding together directly after the start. When I saw that Marek was going slowly I attacked. It was a tough race for me” Barben explained after the race. Barben really enjoyed his stay in Jelenia Gora. “Poland is very interesting, there were plenty of cultural events in the old town we saw. It’s a nice country, nice tracks. I am happy to be here, good times!”, the Swiss rider exclaimed.

After the last races the closing ceremony ended the FISU event.
