FISU President visited Panorama’s TV-compоund in the Universiade

Today July 11th, FISU President, Mr. Claude-Louis Gallien was welcomed by Mr. Vasily Kiknadze, Panorama’s CEO, at the Tennis Academy TV Compound of the XXVII Summer Universiade in Kazan.

Panorama “ANO” Sports Broadcasting is the TV production company – host broadcaster of the Universiade. In preparation to this outstanding event and to make sure that the highest quality TV signal was produced, Panorama trained over 1,200 TV specialists from all over Russia.

The Universiade is a remarkable event not only for athletes and spectators, but it is also a key milestone for TV professionals who feel privileged to be part of the Student Games production. To make it even more memorable for the trainees, it was decided that the Graduation Ceremony would take place in Kazan, the host city of the Universiade 2013. 49 trainees from Saint-Petersburg were honored to receive their graduation diplomas from the hands of the President of FISU.

In his speech, Mr. Claude-Louis Gallien emphasized the importance of organizing the highest quality live worldwide broadcast of such major events like the Universiade. It was for this reason that the newly qualified Panorama team undertook months and months of intensive training.

The President of FISU said: “You are doing a great job. You can be proud of yourselves, and I am proud of you”.

At the end of the ceremony Mr. Kiknadze took Mr. Gallien on a tour of one of the 24-camera OB-Vans that produce Live signal from all competition venues of the event.
