CIC Meeting in Trento

Zoran Nikolic, Stefano Ravelli, Omar Al Hai & Laurent Briel

TRENTO – On the occasion of the CTI meeting taking place in Trento, currently under preparation for the 2013 Winter Universiade, CIC Chair Omar Al Hai, had the opportunity to visit the San Bartolameo complex where the accreditation center for athletes and officials will be installed. During his visit, he was accompanied by Zoran Nikolic, FISU IT & C consultant and Laurent Briel, Director of Development and Special Projects. The San Bartolameo building is still under construction and will be completed in June to install the offices needed. The place is ideal for this kind of activity due to its modular concept.

Stefano Ravelli guided the delegation through the whole building, explaining in great detail the different areas that will be used during the Universiade and by sector of activity. This venue will be the heart of all Universiade logistics. Mr. Ravelli also answered specific questions of the FISU delegation. The previous day a working meeting was held between the CIC delegates and the OC to answer the many questions the OC had about the accreditation process.
