53 Higher Education Institutions train Volunteers for Kazan 2013

KAZAN New partners join the Kazan 2013 team as the Games organisers sign cooperation agreements with three more higher education institutions, the total number of the Summer Universiade’s academic partners now reaching 53 universities.

Three top universities of Russia – Ural State University of Physical Culture, Volgograd State Agrarian University and Tambov State Technical University – will contribute to the successful staging of the 27th Summer Universiade. 

Volunteer recruitment and training centres have already been opened at the before-mentioned higher education institutions, with the overall volunteer quota for these three universities reaching 180 students. 100 volunteers of Chelyabinsk will work at the Raketa Stadium, 50 volunteers of Volgograd will help deliver football matches at the Rubin Stadium while 30 volunteers of Tambov will perform volunteer service at the Forsage Centre.
