Technology Check for Trentino

TRENTINO – Milan Augustin, Director WU; Mirjana Cvijanovic, FISU IT&C advisor and Lars Heilfort, SwissTiming sport service representative are currently visiting all sport venues in the Trentino region where 26th Winter Universiade will be organized.

The Organising Committee was presented by the following persons:
Sergio Anesi, President of OC 2013; Filippo Bazzanella, SG of OC 2013; Ubaldo Prucker, Sport Director; Maurizio Rossini, Marketing & Sponsorship Director; Michela Filippi, Assistant to Sports Director; Isacco Fontana, Trentino Network; Paolo Simonetti, Trentino Region; Network Director; Andrea Molinari, OC IT Manger; Italo Della Noce, Trentino Region IT Manager; Paolo Bouquet, Vice-President of OC 2013 and the Competition and Venue Managers.

The objective of this inspection visit is to evaluate all the venues from a purely technological perspective and assess the needs for timekeeping systems. Although the region of Trento clearly has a large experience in the organisation of winter sports competitions, this kind of inspection is essential to anticipate any potential problems. A detailed report will be drawn up once the inspection visit is over.
