The delegation’s visit’s purpose is also to prepare the 1st Inspection Visit of the Technical Chairs (CTI) next month.

The delegation is due to make a comprehensive inspection over all functional areas of the Universiade preparatory work including the human resources management plan, the organisational plan, the venue construction and refurbishment plan, the sports programmes and the Universiade venue inspection visit.

On October 10th, the first day of the visit, the delegation held a meeting with the OC on the functional areas including the organisational chart and progress of the master plan and visited sports venues for fencing, athletics, football, judo, taekwondo, water polo, badminton and tennis.

“The FISU inspection visit will be a good opportunity to delve deeply to chart the progress of the plans and to ensure the event preparation is on the right track for the smooth and successful hosting of the games under close collaboration with FISU” said GUOC Secretary-General, Yoon-suk Kim.

Meanwhile, the 1st CTI Inspection Visit is scheduled for the coming November 26th through December 9th, where a large inspection group will visit Gwangju.
