TRENTINO – On the second day of the technical inspection visit of Roger ROTH, CTI Chair, Milan AUGUSTIN, WU Director and Ola SUNDEQUIST, CT Chair Snowboarding have been focused on sports installation in Tesero ( Val di Fiemme), which is the most modern stadium for cross country skiing inEurope. Within the upcoming winter season the OC of Val di Fiemme will be host for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships chaired by Piero DE GODENZ, president of OC WCH 2013.
The group of technical experts Andro FERRARI (OC WU Sports coordinator), Giacomo BONINSEGNA (Venue Manager), Ciro TOMASI (Chief of stadium), Giuseppe BRIGADOI ( Race Director) and Ubaldo PRUCKER (technical advisor for biathlon) conducted a very fruitful discussion to have the biathlon events in Tesero where already the shooting range has been built last year. All possible solutions have been discussed and brought up to OC of the 2013 WU to Mr. Sergio ANESI, president of the 2013 WUOC and Filippo BAZANELA, General Coordinator of the 2013 WU who were also present at this important meeting.
The technical group will meet again on July 23rd to extend the discussions in Tesero.
