Brazil wins 2nd ODUPA Futsal Championship

CURACAO – The 2nd ODUPA Futsal Championship came to an end on Saturday June 30th with the game for the 3rd and 4th place and the gold medal game.

In the semi-finals Brazil had a tight win over Haiti (5 – 4) with the decisive goal scored in the last minute to become the 1st finalist. In the second game Curacao beat Ecuador with 3 – 2 after a very emotional game and became the 2nd finalist.

In the game for the 3rd place Haiti played Ecuador, winning 4-2.

In the final match Brasil shows his ability to be the champ of ODUPA and beats Curacao with the score of 7 – 1 and and becomes the Futsal Champion of ODUPA for the 2nd time.

The refereeing of the games were mostly in the hand of referees from the Dominican Republic and Venezuala. The referee crew consisted of 3 International FIFA Futsal Referees.
