2013 SU Update: Kazan 2013 Merchandise to go on Sale in July

KAZAN The 27th Summer Universiade has gained new licensees. Three companies –Gala Graffiti, Open Star and Torgovy Dom, a company based on the production site of Vostok Watch Makers Inc – signed licensing agreements with the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate

Thanks to the agreements signed with new licensees, the range of Kazan 2013 merchandise has significantly increased. Gala Graffiti revealed its plans to kick-start the production of a new collection of felt products. The range of licensed goods includes bags, cell phone and tablet cases, personal organisers. All items are made from 3mm thick 100% natural wool felt.

In addition, Vostok Watch Makers Inc announced the start of production of mechanical watches, quartz wall clocks and alarm clocks. A Kazan 2013 licensed wristwatch set will include interchangeable bands in colours of the Universiade. Wristwatches come with a one-year limited warranty.

Open Star, a consumer electronics distributor in Russia, will provide MyVibe speaker portable systems officially licensed by the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate. The company will mainly focus on portable audio and video players that are especially popular among young people in other countries.

Earlier, the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate already signed licensing agreements with five companies. ZAO Khokhlomskaya Rospis produces popular craftwork and handicraft items bearing the Kazan 2013 logo, Parli fabricates perfume and beauty products, Serhio Ramosh Group manufactures 2013 Games-logoed decals and stickers for the Macbook, iPhone and iPad.

All merchandise manufactured by the official licensees of the 27th Summer Universiade will be available in official Kazan 2013 shops that are due to open on July 6th, 2012.
