LAUSANNE – A month prior to the beginning of the 5th World University Floorball Championship, Czech Republic and especially its capital city, Prague “the Golden City” are ready to host the best university floorball teams for a high level tournament.
The city of Prague, included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites and the Technical University of Prague will welcome from May 23rd to 27th eight countries in the men’s tournament and four countries in the women’s tournament. The opening ceremony will take place in the Bethlehem Chapel, the magnificent ceremonial hall of the Czech Technical University were usually graduation ceremonies are held.
The men’s tournament will be divided in two groups:
Group A
Czech Republic
Austria
Japan
Belgium
Group B
Sweden
Finland
Switzerland
Slovakia
The women’s tournament will include one group:
Czech Republic
Sweden
Finland
Switzerland
