2011-2015 Committee for University Sports Study
TAIPEI CITY – The first committee meeting to be held at the FISU Forum was naturally the Committee for University Sports Study. This committee is responsible for assisting and advising the Executive Committee in the overall administration of FISU, as well as promoting the study of university sport by organising a conference during the Universiade, in addition to the FISU Forum.
The meeting was led by the FISU First Assessor and CESU Chair Ms Alison Odell (GBR) who together with the Vice-chair Nico Sperle (GER), set out to welcome and introduce all committee members: Ms Renata Bojczuk-Kosciukiewicz (POL), Mrs Gyöngyi Földesi (HUN), Mrs Yang-Ja Hong (KOR), Mrs Elena Rudaya (RUS), Mrs Supitr Samahito (THA), Anthony Davis (JAM), Sami Garabedian (LIB), Leopold G. Senghor (SEN), Arnaud Richard (FRA) and Bingshu Zhong (CHN)
The extensive 1-day agenda covers the key areas of this committee’s work, starting by setting out the duties and responsibilities of the members within the committee, as well as during the FISU Forum week in Taipei. This is followed by a report from the 2012 FISU Forum Organising Committee and another report from the 2013 Summer Universiade delegation from Kazan on the International Educational Center and the FISU Conference 2013.
