BRAGA – The Organising Committee of the 2012 World University Futsal Championship held its third general meeting on Tuesday, March 13th. The meeting took place in the Sports Complex of theUniversity ofMinho – HQ of the competition that will take place from August 18th to 25th.
With the full team in attendance, the OC covered aspects relating to the general information regarding the event, commercial presentation, budget, situation update of each working area, including specific material and volunteer needs during the WUC.
The OC looked into the current status of partnerships and projects, namely the event legacy projects – a key and pioneer aspect of the World University Championships.
In the meantime, the first advertisement of the event has been unveiled – under the slogan “celebrate Futsal and play with us”, the OC is looking to attract local, national and international attention to the event in order to guarantee success at all organizational levels, delivering therefore the highest quality sport event possible.
