MACEIO – From Blumenau (SC) to Maceio (AL). After the inspection visit in Blumenau, the host city of the 2012 World University Handball Championship, leaders of CBDU and FISU embarked this Sunday (March 11) to Maceio. The capital of Alagoas will host the 2012 World University Beach Volleyball, in September.
Luciano Cabral, president of CBDU, Laurent Briel, director of FISU World University Championships, Ricardo Souza, deputy technical director, and Ricardo Moura, director of international relations, landed in Maceio around 15h this Sunday where they met Edinilton Vasconcelos, Technical Director of CBDU, Silvio Leonard, technical advisor CBDU, and Mary Cícera, president of FADU. A number of meetings are planned today.
