KAZAN – 1st Deputy Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate Azat Kadyrov underlined the high importance of the FISU Seminar which is running these days inKazan. The organizers of the seminar dedicated to the preparation and staging of the 27th World University Summer Games in Kazan are FISU, Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate and FISU International Education Centre.

«I’ve talked to participants and entrants of the seminar and all of them are satisfied with the content of the program», Azat Kadyrov said to the journalists. «There is no need to ask additional questions during the plenary sessions, as the speakers provide a detailed review of all areas of the preparation for the Games. Of course, there are questions being raised during the workshops. I think that the seminar will help us to clear up a range of questions that concern us. Given we have 18 months to go until the start of the Universiade, the presentations and reports that our colleagues from FISU are delivering in Kazan are topical more than ever.»

There is little chance that such a high-profile seminar will be held again before the 2013 Summer Universiade. «We can get answers to emerging questions during the inspection visit that is expected to be held in the second half of April. All FISU Technical Delegates will arrive to see our venues’ readiness and we will need to confirm many questions together», Azat Kadyrov added.

The next time the FISU Family delegates will arrive inKazanis in May 2012, when the meeting of the FISU Executive Committee will be held here.
