2012 WUC Update: Kick-off of the WUC Year

BRUSSELS – With Water Skiing in Santiago de Chile (CHI) from January 12^th to 15^th, FISU will start a year which will see 28 World University Championships take place.

In April, Poland and the city of Lodz will host the 18^th World University Cross Country Championship. Those two Championships will represent the kick-off of a WUC campaign which will last until December 22^nd.

In May, Pocheon (KOR) the homeland of Taekwondo will be the host city of the 12^th World University Taekwondo Championship in an area devoted to this sport, which can be developed as a philosophy in this part of the world. At the same time, Prague (CZE) will welcome the best university floorball teams of the world for the 6^th World University Floorball Championship in order to find a successor to Sweden.
