2017 WU Bidding Update: Almaty Bidding Committee presents «20-1-7» Program

ALMATY – November 11th, 2011 the Almaty Bidding Committee presented an innovative program, “1-7-20 ideas” at the annual Youth Forum. The program started with the leading Kazakh universities in which innovative ideas are collected from MBA students and doctoral students for the promotion of the principles of sustainable development. Universities participating in the program will create “The Future Leadership Student Club”; Through the Universiade and student sport the hosts want to develop the next generation with new thinking and new approaches.

The forum was attended by more than 2,000 Kazakh students, Akim of Almaty, the deputies of the Majilis and Maslikhat of Almaty, the heads of city committees, representatives of youth and student organizations, community leaders and the media.

The Forum is an annual event, which has raised the most pressing youth issues. It creates a new opportunity for a free and open dialogue between politicians, journalists and experts in economics, business and arts for searching new solutions to the problems of the younger generation.
