2015 SU Update: GUOC is recruiting College Bloggers

4 November 2011

GWANGJU – The 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade Organizing Committee (GUOC) is recruiting college bloggers until November 13th to become the first group of ‘Global Reporters’ for the 2015 Universiade.

Any college student who has a personal blog and interest in participating in the 2015 Gwangju Universiade can become a global reporter. Global reporters will promote the international event through blogging. The GUOC is also looking for college students who are good at writing articles and posting user-created contents including cartoons.

The GUOC will recruit 15 global reporters, who will work for 6 months starting in December. Their responsibility is to create various contents related to the Universiade and post them on the official GUOC blog.

The global reporters will receive appointment letters, badges, manuscript fees, and activity expenses. They will also be given incentives based on their performance. They can continue to write as honorary reporters until 2015 even after their 6-month term is finished. The GUOC will recruit 7 groups of global reporters until the event starts.

In the meantime, the GUOC is holding an online event to promote the recruitment for global reporters. Bloggers can copy and paste the recruiting news on their blogs and leave their blog URLs on the GUOC blog. The GUOC will select winners and award prizes. The details for the event are on the GUOC homepage (http://gwangju2015.kr) and on the GUOC blog (http://gj2015.tistory.com).
