TRENTINO – A warm and friendly welcome has been reserved yesterday to the FISU representatives who have come toTrento for the inspection visit related to the Winter Universiade official bid Trentino 2017. The delegation chaired by Vice-President Leonz Eder is composed of Kairis Ulp, Chair Supervision Committee WU; Roger Roth, Technical Chair WU and Milan Augustin, Director WU.
The representatives were welcomed in the central square of the city by several representatives of the Bidding and the Technical Committees and by a hundred students of the University of Trento.
The first working session has been held in the Rectorate building of the University, where – after the welcome speeches of the Rector’s Delegate for University Sports Paolo Bouquet and the General Manager of the University Giancarla Masè – the official presentation has started, pointing out the features and the strengths of Italy, Trentino, the University of Trento and the CUSI (the Italian University Sports Centre) and explaining why they are ready and willing to host the Winter Universiade.
