BRUSSELS – The Czech Association for University Sport (CAUS) with 11 World University Championships organized in its history is one of the most active federations, and Prague, with 4 events hosted since then, one of the most active city.
Mainly known for tourism, Prague is also an extraordinary place for sport, and the city will host from May 23rd to 27th the 5th World University Floorball Championship succeeding in that task to the city of Umea (SWE) who organized the previous edition in 2010.
Hosting a men’s and women’s tournament since 2008, the World University Floorball Championship has attracted an average of over 175 participants from around 10 countries. Prague will be the theater of a tight battle for the World University title between the best student players of floorball coming from all around the world.
