2012 WUC Update: FFSU to host 6th WUC Bridge in the Capital of Champaign

15 September 2011

BRUSSELS From July 10th to 15th, 2012 the best student bridge players will gather in the city of Reims (FRA) known as the capital of Champaign.

With prestigious partners such as Mumm and Taittinger, two of the most prestigious Champaignproducers, the 6th World University Bridge Championship will be hosted in the best standards.

A successful inspection visit by FISU CT Chair Geert MAGERMAN and FISU WUC Director Laurent BRIEL which took place in June enabled to answer the questions raised by the Organizing Committee and to insure a good cooperation between the Organizing Committee, the French Bridge Federation and FISU.

The 6th World University Bridge Championship will be organized at the same time as the yearly music festival “Les flâneries musicales” which will enable the participants to discover the local culture while a junior tournament will allow the children of the city to discover bridge.
