2011 SU Update: “No Ticket, No Problem”

SHENZHEN – Here in Shenzhen, thousands of spectators, fans and the local people are enjoying the two weeks of sporting action of the Universiade. Attendances at the venues are always near capacity. But the people who attend the games are the lucky ones with tickets, only a small proportion. For those who don’t have tickets, you’d expect television to be only the source. That is not the case in Shenzhen. Whether you don’t have the money to buy tickets or tickets are sold out, it does not necessarily mean you can’t get a piece of the live action.
