SHENZHEN – Today, August 4th, the representatives of FISU Sinisa Jasnic – member of Executive Committee, Marc Vandenplas – Director of SU and Milan Augustin – Director of WU paid an inspection visit to check a very important part of the organization, i.e. the transportation procedure to different sport venues form the Athletes’ Village.
The transportation was conducted very well under the supervision of all representatives of the transportation department. The transportation service with all dedicated busses to all teams and the overall procedure for individual sports have been checked step by step in order to eliminate any discrepancy inside of transportation. The transportation info center is also located very close to the parking lots and provides all information needed.
Today the FISU deegates also paid attention to the catering in the Athletes’ Village supervised by Operation Director for Catering Mr. Elton Mo. The Director of WU Milan Augustin with Laurent Briel, WUC Director together with the Vice Mayor of the Athletes’ Village and CIC member of FISU Shen Zhen lunched in one of two dining halls which will be used during the Universiade. The catering staff has been doing an excellent job. We are confident that the 26th Summer Universiade will be on a very high level.
