LAIZHOU – July 17th, the competitions of the 1st Asian University Beach Volleyball Championship started under the clear sky on the beautifulbeach of Laizhou city. The strong sunshine on the beach did not disturb the student-athletes performing on a high international level. Men’s and Women’s rounds of Round Robin format of play brought up unforgettable games, which started from 8: 30 to 18: 30. Almost every team played 3 matches.
Mr. AL-HAI Omar A., AUSF Senior Vice President, Mr. CHEN Kunning, AUSF Vice President and Mr. CHOW Kenny, AUSF Secretary General, went to watch the games. Mr. CHOW Kenny also inspected the TC offices, Athletes rest room and he felt happy to see everything was well organized, also including the Security people and Medical aid on the competition venue.
