Igor Sivov also shared his impressions of the extreme sports performances. «I was impressed by the performance delivered by Extreme Factor’s members at the three-year anniversary of Kazan winning the right to host the 2013 Summer Universiade, I was struck by how interesting, healthy and athletic these guys are. Most important, they are all friends, you can see that the team spirit is strong, as well as mutual support. As you know, teamwork is the recipe of success for sports teams that’s why we have big plans for our cooperation with the Extreme Factor Club», the Deputy Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate said.

For his part, Yaroslav Muraviev expressed hope that the 2013 Summer Universiade would give a rise to the republic’s extreme sports development, as well as active implementation of youth projects. «We would like to make use of the possibilities afforded to Tatarstan’s youth on the threshold of the 27th World University Summer Games and give a jump-start to development of youth societies and associations, including those in extreme sports.»

The Kazan 2013-Extreme Factor cooperation agreement stipulates implementation of a whole range of extreme sports tournaments and festivals aimed at promoting the 27th Summer Universiade, encouraging healthy lifestyle and building positive image of extreme sports.
