The document was signed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Sochi 2014 OC President Dmitry Chernyshenko. I’m confident that our cooperation will serve to the benefit of the University Games, Olympics and sports in whole, as well as to promotion of healthy lifestyle in Russia.»

Among other things, a cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee is to become part of the Games legacy, allow to use to maximum human resources of the Universiade and Olympics, cut expenses and improve management of such large-scale events.

«The Kazan Universiade and Games in Sochi are the first sporting events of immense scale and significance that are expected to happen in Russia in the coming decade. «The developed algorithm will be used within the country, like, for example, during the preparations of Formula One and the 2018 FIFA World Cup, as well as outside the country. Later on, our solution will come in handy for organizers of future Olympic and Paralympic Games regardless of the hosting nation.»
