2011 WU Update: ‘The Road to Erzurum’

ERZURUM – Today, January 20^th, early in the morning around 01h30 am, the last group of the FISU Staff arrived in Erzurum to set up the temporary FISU Headquarters for the 25^th Winter Universiade.

The following days many teams will enter Turkey through the international airports of Ankara and Istanbul. At these entry ports teams will notice the WU info desks where they can find WU delegates to help them for their connecting flights to Erzurum. So watch out for the WU sign if you leave the airplane once your delegation arrives in Ankara or Istanbul.

In the meanwhile in Erzurum, preparatory meetings are taking place between OC and FISU Staff to guarantee smooth Games.
