KAZAN – From December 16th to 19th, the Boxing and Table Tennis Centre hosts republican competitions – Tatarstan Cup and Individual U-21 (Boys and Girls) Table Tennis Championship.
Apart from the strongest junior athletes of the Tatarstan Republic, the competitions assembled 1975-born and older players.
The medal ceremony will be held on December 19th. The awards for the ‘Best Athlete and Coach’ of 2010 will be announced at the closing ceremony as well.
The Boxing and Table Tennis Centre became the 23rd sports venue constructed within the preparation for the 2013 Summer Universiade. The inauguration ceremony that took place on October 9th, 2010 was attended by Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
