KAZAN – While on his working visit to Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov together with the delegation of the Volgograd region headed by Governor Anatoly Brovko became acquainted with the preparation progress of the 2013 Summer Universiade.
Accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of Tatarsan Rafis Burganov, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the Universiade Village, examined the living conditions in the newly constructed residence halls and met with residents of the student campus.
During the tour the guests were told about the construction period of the key venue of the 2013 World University Summer Games.
After the Universiade Village the delegates inspected the Burevestnik Swimming Pool that was inaugurated in October, 2010.
