2010 WUC Karate Update: Arrivals & Accreditation

PODGORICA – The delegations of MNE, FRA, OMA, VEN, KOR, BEL, BRA, ISR, BOT, RSA, ESP, CHN, JPN, GER and LUX arrived yesterday in Podgorica to attend the 7th World University Karate Championship, organised by University Sports Federation of Montenegro. This will be the first time that this young FISU member association hosts a FISU WUC event. At this edition of the World University Karate Championship, the Organizing Committee is expecting participants from more then 50 countries from all over the world.

Accommodation

The organizers prepared for the participating countries two different places of dormitories. The FISU Family is accommodated in Hotel Podgorica, and the referees are accommodated at the Hotel Montenegro.

Accreditation

The Accreditation centre is situated on the new university campus and member of the CIC committee Dmitry Kisilev is preparing to tackle a lot of work, checking all these individual entry forms of the 50 participating countries.

The CISCA members will have a meeting with the OC representative after the arrival of CT Chair Tokey Hill and EC member and president the CISCA Stavros Douvis late this evening due to the delay of the flight from Belgrade.
