European Universities Championships 2010 Commenced

LJUBLJANA – The 2010 season of the European Universities Championships (EUC) has kicked off with the start of the first two championships in Handball (Nicosia, Cyprus) and Badminton (Nancy, France), and nine others coming up in the period of two months.

In 2009, fifteen European Universities Championships were organised, with over 3.000 participants taking part in the championships.

This year, the following sporting events are being organised under the flag of the European University Sports Association (EUSA):

4th European Universities Table Tennis Championship: Kazan, Russia: 22.-26.06.2010

7th European Universities Beach-Volleyball Championship: Kazan, Russia: 05.-10.07.2010

4th European Universities Rugby 7s Championship: Cordoba, Spain: 14.-17.07.2010

10th European Universities Basketball Championship: Poznan, Poland: 18.-25.07.2010

7th European Universities Futsal Championship: Zagreb, Croatia: 18.-25.07.2010

8th European Universities Football Championship: Warsaw, Poland: 18.-25.07.2010

10th European Universities Volleyball Championship: Warsaw, Poland: 22.-29.07.2010

7th European Universities Tennis Championship: Coimbra, Portugal: 25.-31.07.2010

6th European Universities Rowing Championship: Amsterdam, the Netherlands: 19.-22.08.2010
