Tomorrow, competition will start with morning and afternoon eliminations of the competing teams so the best teams will remain for the Sunday Finals. Tomorrow the weather forecast is 40 degrees with just only 15 % humidity and as FISU Technical Chair for Beach Volleybal Mr. Tennant and his assistant Mrs. Drakich pointed out during yesterday evening’s technical meeting, that the watering of the playing fields must be done very carefully even on the request of the athletes during the games. All participants experience perfect catering and accommodation facilities a result of the great hospitality of the Alanya resort and TUSF.

Some fun distraction for all participants is the 2011 Winter Universiade tent with a game simulator for Ski Jumping, Slalom, Volleyball etc. Even Milan Augustin – Director of WU and Mr. Malumbete Ralethe – First Assessor of the Executive Committee and Dr. Lalosevic – Member of the Medical Committee jumped on the balance board and were competing between themselves. This simulator was and excellent idea from the Erzurum OC and the Turkish University Sports Federation!
