5th Friendship Games Come to an End in Eilat

EILAT – The 5th edition of the student basketball event ‘Friendship Games 2010’ came to an end last Thursday in the southern city of Eilat, Israel.

In the Men’s final on Thursday, Cyprus beat Israel’s Eilat men’s team in the final 73:53.

Liberty University of the USA was the winner of the women’s competition, after beating Israel’s women’s team 82:58.

All teams and officials attended a party to celebrate the conclusion of the tournament a day before the finals in “Timna Park” 20 minutes away from the city of Eilat, where they danced and celebrated together the end of a great week of basketball and friendship.
