The volunteers are ready to welcome the teams!
BUDAPEST – Preparations for the 2010 World University Handball Championship have came to an end. On Friday, June 11th, the Organizing Committee held its last expanded meeting chaired by Mr. Andor TOMPA and Dr. Csaba HÉDI.
Directors of all involved venues were present, the program of the event (almost 60 matches will be played) has been finalized despite of the fact that the OC did not yet receive the final entries of some participating teams.
A large number of volunteers will ensure the smooth running of the event. They also had their last preparatory meeting where everyone has received his/her uniform.
Hungary and the city of Nyíregyháza will welcome the participants with the well-known and traditional Hungarian hospitality from June 27th to July 4th.
