FADU signs Cooperation Protocol with Portuguese Federation of Sports for Persons with Disabilities

LISSABON – Last week FADU – the Portuguese National University Sport Federation signed an important cooperation protocol with the Portuguese Federation of Sports for Persons with Disabilities (FPDD).

The partnership between FADU and FPDD has been notorious in some national academic events. In particular, the integration of several extra players in the National University Championships of Athletics and Swimming, took place this season.

In early June, this partnership was formalized through a Cooperation Protocol between the two organizations. With the aim of sport and technical support, this protocol ensures the possibility of extra participation in the events of FADU and in several sports, for athletes with disabilities.

This protocol represents a joint effort of both federations within the disability sports in the various policy areas, from training to practice sports.”
