MALAGA – The preparations for the 13th World University Golf Championship in Antequera-Málaga are nearly finished, and the OC is expecting the first team, namely from Korea, to arrive in Antequera. soon.

A Press Conference by the Organizing Committee was held in the City Hall with the presence of the Mayor, Dr. Ricardo Millan, the Chairman of the OC, Pedro Montiel Gamez, the Authorities from the Andalusian Golf Federation and Antequera Golf Club as well as from FISU. FISU was represented by Leonz Eder, EC Member and CISCA Chair for this WUC and Fernand Bottelberghs, Secretary of CIC. The Organizing Committee expects 21 nations from all the five continents to take part in this championship, which is a great success both for FISU and for the OC.
Later in the afternoon, the FISU delegates visited the Antequera Golf Club which is very beautifully located in the mountain area around the city.
