FISU is saddened by the sudden death of François Besson (FRA), Sports Director of the International Judo Federation.
Mr. Besson, former member of the French National Judo team (7th dan), was a long-time member of the FISU Family as a technical delegate of the IFJ at the judo tournament of numerous Summer Universiades.
Mr. Besson, aged 63, is survived by his wife Isabelle and his son Alexandre.
FISU offers its sincere condolences to Mr. Besson’s Family and the International Judo Family.
