The International Woodball Federation has donated a woodball making machine to the OC.

The Ministry of Education and Sports is very strongly behind the OC’s efforts to organize the sole championship on the African continent.

FASU, the Continental Associate Member for Africa, will host its General Assembly prior to the event. This will encourage more African countries to participate in the tournament.

FISU Technical Chair for Woodball Mr. Huang inspected the competition venue and other facilities and supervised the International Woodball Referees Clinic among which the OC shall select the best to officiate during the event.

The OC now meets every fortnight specifically for this event. Having popularized the game in Uganda, a lot of people as well as the media are looking forward for this event which will take place from August 22nd to 26th.
