The newly built Athletes’ Village for the 2009 Summer Universiade in Belgrade was turned into a green oasis in the past few days as gardeners were hard at work.
Landscape architects have carefully chosen the trees, plants and decorative flowers so as to be in full bloom in time for the Universiade.
In the future, this housing project will be a green oasis in Novi Beograd, a true urban zone with few parks. The gardens within the Village complex will cover 22 thousand square meters.
