The Women’s 3,000m Long Track Speed Skating competition was dominated by the Chinese. Fu Chunyan and Dong Feifei took gold and silver. Polish skater Luiza Zlotkowska wriggled herself on the Chinese dominated podium winning the bronze.

More Asian domination in the Heiljongjang Speed Skating Oval, were Korean Lee Kang Seok beat Zhang Yaolin and Yu Fengtong on the 100m in front of a full capacity crowd.
