FISU opens Bidding for 2021 Universiades

LAUSANNE – FISU is pleased to announce that it is officially launching the bidding procedure for the 2021 Winter and Summer Universiades.

The FISU Member Associations interested in bidding for the 2021 Winter Universiade or 2021 Summer Universiade should contact the FISU Secretariat (fisu@fisu.net).

Detailed documents intended to assist interested MA with the bidding process will be sent to them upon request.

Should you have specific questions regarding the preparation of your bidding book, please contact the FISU staff which will be pleased to assist you.

We thank you for your interest in the 2021 bidding procedure and remain at your disposal for any questions you might have in this matter.

 

Schedule

1 September, 2014: Launch of the bidding process

1 March, 2015: Bidding form and payment of bidding fee

1 April to 30 September: Working sessions and Observers’ programme  

(Brussels, Lausanne, Gwangju SU)

From 30 September, 2015:

  • Submission of the bidding book (Lausanne)

  • Inspection visits by Evaluation Committees (All candidate cities)

  • Presentations by the Bidding Committees to the FISU Executive Committee and attribution of the 2021 Universiades (Lausanne)
