4th World University Boxing Championship

Events
The Championships will be staged in 10 weight categories with bouts of four two-minute rounds with a one-minute rest between rounds, according to the current rules of the AIBA.
The weight categories are as follows (MEN):
1. Fly Weight 46 kg-49 kg
2. Bantam Weight 52 kg
3. Feather Weight 56 kg
4. Light Weight 60 kg
5. Light Welter Weight 64 kg
6. Welter Weight 69 kg
7. Middle Weight 75 kg
8. Light Heavy Weight 81 kg
9. Heavy Weight 91 kg
10. Super Heavy Weight +91 kg
Participation
Each country is authorised to enter one (1) competitor for each weight category. Each boxer must have a valid AIBA record book with medical exams. The countries participating in the boxing competitions with more than five (5) competitors must bring with their delegation and at their own cost:
- one (1) accredited AIBA referee/judge
- one (1) medical doctor who will not be accepted as additional person.
Delegation
Each country is authorized to enter a maximum of eighteen (18) participants of whom maximum eleven (11) athletes and seven (7) officials. The countries must declare their starters to the CT 24 hours before the official weighting. Countries must provide the Organising Committee three (3) months before the start of the championship, with the names of two (2) international referees (1 effective + 1 non-travelling substitute). Any country failing to fulfil this obligation will pay a fee per referee to the Organising Committee.
Age Brackets
Athletes must be born between January 1st, 1982 and December 31st, 1992.
